Happy New Year!
Stephanie and I spent the weekend and New Year's day in Dallas. We arrived in
Addison which is a little north of Dallas Saturday afternoon and settled
in. We decided to head to Pete's Dueling Piano Bar that
evening. You can hear everything from the hokey pokey to your
favorite college fight song....for a few bucks anyway.

After a long night of adult beverages....I mean water...we retired
in the early hours of Sunday.
Sunday brought some entertainment in the form of the Cotton Bowl
Parade which we saw from start to finish. There were some
decent and very good bands that performed.

After the parade we headed over to the Dallas Museum of Art for the
special Van Gogh exhibition. We do not have any photos from
within the museum. It
was a nice but small collection on display from the Van Gogh Museum
in Amsterdam.

That night we headed out for a late dinner and to bring in the New
Year at the Melting Pot. We ate and drank until the champagne
toasts to the New Year....and then had some desert. It was gooooooood.

We left for the Cotton Bowl around 6:00 am....braving the cold and
the elements. It was 36 with out the wind chill and mid 20's
with it.
We participated in the Tiger Walk.
Then it was up to the stadium....

Auburn and Nebraska squared off with Auburn finishing with a win.
The final score was 17-14.

Happy B-day to Brian.
Dec 26, 2006 Hello everyone. Christmas has come and gone... Stephanie
and I visited Indianapolis for Christmas this year.
Everyone in the family must have been good this year as Santa
dropped off a bundle. He made 2 big stops in Indy and Houston.
Steph and I also did a few holiday extras this year. We saw
the Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes and also the
Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Great Shows.
We wish everyone a happy New Year.
We have some pictures posted
here.
